Chocolate Mug Cake

Updated: Aug 1, 2021

I love making desserts, but sometimes I don't get the time to make a big dessert, and when those cravings hit in the middle of the night, this chocolate mug cake is just perfect. What makes it perfect is a big dollop of Nutella! The best part is, you can customise it and add some great toppings, like nuts, Oreos, fresh berries and whipped cream. The combinations are endless.

Just toss it all into the mug and give it a quick minute in the microwave, and its ready. I usually make this dessert when I want something quick and the kids are sleeping. I don't want the excessive noise to wake them up. Otherwise they wake up ready for dessert. And sometimes, I don't want to share. Yeah, I'm mean ! :)
