Air Fryer Butter Chicken Skewers

I am always looking for a fast mid week meal that the kids will enjoy and these air fryer butter chicken skewers are perfect. Serve them with potatoes, rice or even in a wrap. You will love how easy they are to put together.

Air Fryer Butter chicken skewers

Preparation Time 10 minutes

Cook Time 15-20 minutes

Serves 4


2 chicken breasts- cubed

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

1 teaspoon chilli flakes

2 tablespoon soy sauce

Juice of 1/2 a lemon

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon oil

Butter sauce

40 grams butter

1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes

Juice of 1/2 lemon

Chopped coriander


  1. Cube the chicken and add the spices, oil, juice and soy sauce. Mix well and marinate 30 minutes.

  2. Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes.

  3. Thread chicken onto skewers. Air fry for 15-20 minutes at 180c. Flip them half way through.

  4. Make the butter sauce by placing the butter, chilli flakes, coriander and lemon juice in a pan. Heat it through and then set it aside.

  5. Brush the chicken with some of the butter sauce. Air fry 2 minutes more.

  6. Brush with more butter sauce before serving.
