Rich Chocolate Pudding

I don't like boxed pudding mixes and I do not let my kids eat them either. Not when I can make it 100 times better myself. It's such a quick and easy recipe, you will want to make it just for the hell of it. Grab your ingredients and make this now! I used this Chocolate Pudding recipe in my Chocolate Lasagne (you can find the recipe for Chocolate Lasagne here)

Preparation and cook time 15 minutes

Serves 4

Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar

3 tablespoons cocoa powder

1/4 cup corn flour

1/8 teaspoon salt

2 3/4 cups milk

2 tablespoons butter- room temperature

1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

• In a saucepan, stir together the sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt.

• Place the saucepan over medium heat, and stir in milk.

• Bring to a boil, and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a metal spoon.

• Remove from heat, and stir in butter and vanilla. Let cool briefly, and serve warm, or chill in refrigerator until serving.
