I love making my own BBQ sauce. Homemade BBQ sauce is so delicious and you can adjust the flavour to your family’s preference. I bottled it up and the kids now use it for their BBQ chicken quesadillas, pulled chicken sandwiches, honey bbq chicken popcorn chicken and bbq chicken subs. This batch won’t even last you the 2 weeks store time.

Preparation Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 15-20 minutes
Yields 10 servings
Ingredients
3/4 cup tomato ketchup
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon mustard
1/2 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup water
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Mix it all together then bring it to a boil. Turn down the heat and cook the sauce on a low heat for 15-20 minutes until thickened.
Adjust the seasoning. Remove it from the stove and cool it to room temperature.
Pour into a sterilised jar. Keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
