Edible Cookie Dough

Last month I sent out boxes of cookies for all friends and family during Ramadan. Everyone loved the cookie boxes I made and asked for recipes. I decided to film the recipes and upload them so that everyone can have access to the recipes. 


I know you will all scream at me through the screen saying the flour is raw and it isn’t good for you. So I am going to put your mind at ease. I did heat treat this flour, in the microwave. 



Edible Cookie Dough


Preparation Time 5 minutes 

Yields 2 cups edible cookie dough 


Ingredients 


1 cup flour 

3/4 cup brown sugar 

1/2 cup butter- room temperature 

1 teaspoon vanilla 

1/8 teaspoon salt 

2 tablespoons milk- optional 

1 cup chocolate chips 






Instructions 


  1. Heat treat the flour. Place the flour in a microwavable bowl and cook the flour for 1 minute and 15 seconds. Set the flour aside to cool. 

  2. Beat the butter and sugar together for 2-3 minutes. Add the vanilla and salt. Sift the flour into the mixture. Mix well. Add the milk if needed. 

  3. Fold the chocolate chips into the cookie dough. 

  4. Serve and enjoy
