Edible Cookie Dough

Last month I sent out boxes of cookies for all friends and family during Ramadan. Everyone loved the cookie boxes I made and asked for recipes. I decided to film the recipes and upload them so that everyone can have access to the recipes.
I know you will all scream at me through the screen saying the flour is raw and it isn’t good for you. So I am going to put your mind at ease. I did heat treat this flour, in the microwave.

Preparation Time 5 minutes
Yields 2 cups edible cookie dough
Ingredients
1 cup flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter- room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons milk- optional
1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Heat treat the flour. Place the flour in a microwavable bowl and cook the flour for 1 minute and 15 seconds. Set the flour aside to cool.
Beat the butter and sugar together for 2-3 minutes. Add the vanilla and salt. Sift the flour into the mixture. Mix well. Add the milk if needed.
Fold the chocolate chips into the cookie dough.
Serve and enjoy
